2023 Small Business Council Leadership

Small Business Council Chair
Caitlin Rice
Caitlin Rice is the founder and CEO of Éclat Media Group, formerly Caitlin Rice PR, a boutique PR agency in Melbourne. She studied Communications with an emphasis in PR, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI.
With a passion for learning new things, Caitlin is always excited to dive head first into a new industry or build on knowledge of an industry she already knows. Caitlin is a powerhouse of media outreach, event coordination, digital marketing, and strategic partnerships. She also serves as Chairwoman for Loving Neighbor, and as treasurer for The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard.
In her free time, you can catch Caitlin and her wife at the local climbing gym, spending time with their “zoo” of three dogs and two cats, or binge watching reality TV.
“I’m ecstatic to join the Small Business Council for a second year,” said Caitlin. “There are so many great speakers and events we look forward to bringing to you in 2023! You won’t want to miss them.”
Thank you, Caitlin, for leading Small Business Council this year!

Small Business Council Vice-Chair
Alexis McGuire
Alexis McGuire is the Chief Executive Officer for Nationwide Medical Licensing.
Alexis was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, moved to Florida in 2007 and began working alongside with NML’s previous owner, her mother, Chrissy Hughes. Alexis took over and inherited NML after her mother’s tragedy in 2017. Despite the battle Alexis endured, she took the circumstance and created a vision and mission to accomplish a goal to succeed in exponential growth for NML. She made a significant purpose of serving their providers with a shield to those who take refuge and put their trust in the organization. New opportunities evolved when Alexis changed the standards for NML’s success and recovered achievement by increasing NML’s growth sales by 2 million dollars in five (5) years. She is a Board Member of Melbourne Main Street and an Elected Board Member of the Melbourne Regional Chamber. She is passionate about the cause of the restoration projects for the Indian River Lagoon and is an avid volunteer for the oyster restoration program at the Brevard Zoo. She values her community and regularly volunteers at local public events, including her most considerable project work with “Toys for Kids.”
“Owning a small business is not an easy task and being able to provide resources to other small business owners to help them succeed is a passion of mine. I look forward to continuing on this wonderful Council and continue to make the lives of fellow small business owners better, one month at a time.”
Thank you, Alexis, for leading Small Business Council this year!
