Love INC of Brevard’s Village Thrift is excited to announce a heartwarming partnership with Calvary Chapel Melbourne’s Women’s Ministry Group, “Crafts for Missions.” This collaboration will see donated T-shirts from Village Thrift transformed into jump ropes that will journey to mission trips across the globe, bringing joy and support to communities in need.

Over the past three years, more than 120 dedicated women have gathered weekly to craft items for these mission trips. Their tireless efforts will now be amplified through this new initiative. Calvary’s upcoming mission trips include destinations such as Cuba, Peru, Colombia, and South Africa, where these handcrafted jump ropes will make a meaningful impact.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support from Village Thrift,” said Paula, coordinator of Crafts for Missions. “By transforming these T-shirts into jump ropes, we’re not just creating something fun and useful, but also extending our love and care to children and families around the world. It’s a beautiful way to connect our local community with those in need globally.”

Linda, Director of Village Thrift at Love INC of Brevard stated, “We are thrilled to support this initiative and see our T-shirts transformed into items that will bring joy to children and families around the world. This partnership exemplifies the spirit of community and global outreach that defines both our organizations.”
