The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts, centrally located on the Melbourne Campus of Eastern Florida State College, is poised to celebrate the 35th year of operation on the Space Coast of Florida with a special recognition celebration on the opening night of Broadway’s “Fiddler on the Roof”, on Monday, April 10th at 7:30 PM with an encore performance scheduled for Tuesday, April 11th at 7:30 PM. The King Center will be hosting the celebration with special invited guests from Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Florida State College, ASM Global and King Center Board of Directors. Special on-stage announcements to begin promptly at 7:15 PM.
The evening will feature a custom designed display cake honoring the 35th anniversary of the King Center and complimentary themed cupcakes provided by Love Bugs Bakery for the first 500 guests through the doors. Additionally, a fun interactive photo-booth is available and lobby decorations will be on display further enhance the evening’s experience. A special on-stage announcement & ribbon cutting celebration is planned for the event beginning promptly at 7:15 PM inside the L3Harris Technologies Theatre. Fans are encouraged to arrive to the King Center early, mix & mingle with fellow Broadway concert attendees, share the fun of the evening with friends & family on social media and enter into the theatre in time to catch the on-stage special recognition celebration.
