Cypress Bank & Trust is proud to announce the addition of David Osgood, AWMA®, as the new Business Development Director, EVP, to our team. David is joining the Cypress family in our Vero Beach office starting Monday, March 11th. While based in Vero Beach, David’s role is designed to have a significant impact company-wide, leveraging his expertise to benefit all our locations.
David Osgood is joining Cypress from Merrill in Vero Beach, where he served as the Resident Director. His tenure there was marked by exemplary achievements, including a notable elevation of their peer rankings to an impressive top tier nationally in terms of growth and profitability by the end of the year. His previous roles in leadership positions at US Trust and Bank of America Wealth Management have equipped him with a profound understanding of the fiduciary business, making him a perfect fit for his new role at Cypress.
A proud alumnus of UNC Chapel Hill, David brings not only his professional acumen but also his rich personal background to our team. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, David is a devoted family man and an avid outdoor enthusiast. He takes pride in being a father to two Eagle Scouts and one American Heritage Girl equivalent. He enjoys camping, hiking, boating, and golfing. His commitment to community service is evident through his active involvement with organizations such as the Planned Giving Council of Indian River and United Against Poverty.
