The Brevard Schools Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexander “Alec” Hall to its Board of Directors. Mr. Hall brings a wealth of experience in cybersecurity, leadership, and community engagement to the Foundation.

With over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, including a distinguished 28-year career in the US Air Force, Mr. Hall understands the critical role education plays in preparing our future workforce. His dedication extends beyond cybersecurity, as evidenced by his commitment to community initiatives.

“We are honored to welcome Alec Hall to the Brevard Schools Foundation Board of Directors,” said Janice Kershaw, President/CEO of the Foundation. “His proven leadership skills, strategic planning experience, and dedication to our community will be invaluable assets as we continue to advance educational opportunities for Brevard County students.”

Mr. Hall’s dedication extends beyond the boardroom. He co-founded the Alliance Cyber Gives Foundation to bring cybersecurity education to youth and seniors. He has also played a key role in national initiatives like the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education and the “Joining Forces” program, demonstrating his commitment to educational excellence and community service.

“I am excited to join the Brevard Schools Foundation Board of Directors and contribute my skills and experience to support the organization’s vital mission,” said Mr. Hall. “Education is the foundation for a thriving community, and I am committed to working alongside the Foundation to ensure all Brevard County students have the opportunity to succeed.”
