Certified Divorce Financial Analyst Penny Di Giovanna Adds New Service for Divorcing Couples

Rockledge, Florida (August 8, 2022) — The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™ (IDFAT®) is pleased to announce that Penny Di Giovanna of Financial Cornerstone Group in Rockledge, Florida recently completed a program in divorce analysis and is now a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) professional.

Mrs. Di Giovanna is trained to provide financial information and assistance to clients who are managing the divorce journey. She evaluates the tax implications and financial impact of various settlement options for dividing marital property (including pensions), as well as child and spousal support payments.

“One of our primary goals at Financial Cornerstone Group is to ease the burdens of individuals and families facing financial challenges. Penny’s hard work and achievement in earning the CDFA® designation demonstrates her commitment to fulfilling this mission. Penny’s expertise will enable her to carefully analyze and counsel regarding the short-term and long-term financial impact of a proposed divorce settlement,” stated Beth Courtney, owner of Financial Cornerstone Group, LLC.

“We analyze the financial issues of a divorce, providing our clients and their lawyers with data to strengthen their case. We help our clients avoid common financial pitfalls of divorce by offering insight into the pros and cons of different settlements. I look forward to the opportunity to serve those who are going through this difficult season, both by helping them from a technical perspective, as well as by providing compassionate and non-judgmental counsel to support them through the emotionally challenging aspects”, said Penny Di Giovanna (CFP®, CDFA®).

IDFAT®, founded in 1993, trains professional financial planners like Penny to determine the financial needs and outcomes for couples before and after divorce. This niche service is expanding rapidly as more people across the country search for alternative divorce processes—from collaborative law to mediation—rather than litigating their case using lawyers as their only line of defense.
