BAC is proud to announce and welcome the addition of a new board member, Peter S. Kamon, who will help support the nonprofit’s mission of enabling individuals of unique abilities to achieve their own personal success. Currently serving as the Director of Professional Development and Learning at Health First, Mr. Kamon is responsible for delivering educational and training programs for nearly 9,000 associates and providers. Peter holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing Administrative and Financial Leadership in Nursing and Healthcare, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. He previously served as director of Clinical Nursing at Holmes Regional Medical Center, overseeing the Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Program, First Flight air ambulance, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Short-Stay Unit and Surgical Step-Down Unit. “We are fortunate and excited to expand our board with a valued new member. Peter‘s unique expertise, passion for helping individuals with disabilities and insight to our work make him an ideal candidate,” said BAC President and CEO Amar Patel.
