SPECIAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD (SEP) FOR THE HEALTH INSURANCE MARKETPLACE AT BREVARD HEALTH ALLIANCE
Brevard County, Fla: In accordance with President Biden’s Executive Order on January 28, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has opened the HealthCare.gov platform for this Special Enrollment Period (SEP) within the Health Insurance Marketplace®. The COVID-19 Public Health Emergency has affected millions of people throughout the country, and many Americans remain uninsured or underinsured and need access to affordable health coverage. The SEP will allow individuals and families to enroll in the health coverage they need.
Brevard Health Alliance (BHA), a primary care medical home, is pleased to offer enrollment application assistance to all. BHA employs Certified Application Counselors trained to assist individuals with Marketplace eligibility and enrollment forms.
Brevard Health Alliance is Brevard County’s only Federally Qualified Health Center and provides extensive primary health care services to Brevard County residents regardless of their ability to pay.
“At Brevard Health Alliance, we value our commitment to our patients and our community,” said Austin Helton, CEO of Brevard Health Alliance. “That is why we are excited to share and offer Marketplace application assistance in addition to our other services at this time.”
