The 3rd Annual Valor Awards Banquet, was presented by the Melbourne Regional Chamber and Gryphon Group Security Solutions on Thursday, September 8 at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto from 6-9PM. Each year the Valor Awards honor local public safety personnel (Sheriff, Police, Fire and Rescue) in Brevard County for acts of extraordinary valor. Multiple awards were presented to personnel nominated by their respective Chiefs and Commanders for putting themselves in harm's way to protect our citizens.

The crowd of over 200 attendees included friends and family of the honorees, municipal and county government officials, and the business community. It was a tremendous showing of support for these brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the citizens of Brevard County.
